Job description
A company is looking for a Cloud Database Administrator to manage and optimize their cloud-based data platform.
Key Responsibilities
Administer and maintain Azure SQL Databases and related PaaS data services
Implement and manage data security and compliance controls aligned with HIPAA, SOC2, and GDPR
Design and maintain disaster recovery and high availability strategies using Azure-native tools
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience managing cloud database environments (Azure SQL or similar)
Strong proficiency in T-SQL and database performance tuning
Experience with Azure Data Factory and Data Lake Storage
Proficiency in PowerShell or Azure CLI for automation
Solid understanding of data security and compliance frameworks (HIPAA, SOC2, GDPR)
