Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an RN with at least 1 year of experience for a night shift Emergency Room assignment requiring ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Assignment in the Emergency Room within an acute care hospital setting
  • Position requires working 3x12 hour night shifts per week
  • Uses Cerner PowerChart as the EMR system
  • 13-week contract assignment
  • Provide direct emergency nursing care to patients with a range of acute illnesses and injuries
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced ER environment
  • Orientation provided at the start of the assignment
  • Night shift assignment only

    • Requirements

  • Active IN or compact RN license required
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent Emergency Department RN experience
  • Current certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC
  • No BSN required for this position
  • Experience with Cerner PowerChart preferred
