As a Channel Key Account Manager, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by :
- Develop, drive and manage EMSD channel activities; establish and enforce channel strategy to stimulate sales growth.
- Collaborate with Sales Manager, Channel Manager and Territory Sales Reps to drive strategy across the channel and internal organization
- Create, implement and manage action plans for assigned distributors; including sales promotions, training programs, inventory management, NPI, registrations, etc.
- Provide input to establish and manage forecast, budgets, co-op funds / merch plans, scrap allowance, etc.
- Identify and define significant market / account opportunities to meet sales growth objectives
- Train and coach channel and territory sales reps.
- Provides input and ideas for extranet site / digital content (3Mxpress) to drive continuous improvement and usage.
- Coordinate with Business team to successfully implement product launch activities, promotion, and communication packages for assigned distributors and key accounts.
- Partner with management, marketing, and finance to determine pricing strategies and implementation to channel.
- Build strong customer and sales rep relationships, facilitates and negotiates contracts.
- Share vision, ideas and opportunities for continued improvement across the division.

Company Vehicle
This position requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this position
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications :
Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)Five (5) years of Interconnect, Electronics channel, or distribution experience in a private, public, government or military environmentCurrent, valid driver's licenseAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include :
Has intimate knowledge of Interconnect / Electronics business and customers, distribution channel management and of the external market (competitors, trends, etc.).Working knowledge of assigned region / market with ability to effectively function in dynamic ever changing environment.Displays evidence of Growth mindset in past work and life experiences.Strong leadership and influencing skills necessary for motivating people.Strong problem-solving capabilities including hypothetical thinking to determine best solutions for complex problems.Work location :
