Market Vice President, Payer

We are looking for our next energetic team member a Market Vice President, Payer to join our quest to provide market-transforming solutions for businesses, care teams and consumers to interactively manage health and care.

The role of Market Vice President, Payer is no different, and in fact, plays a key role in our journey to innovate solutions that solve real problems for our clients.

What We're Looking For

To be successful at Medecision the Market Vice President, Payer will understand how to listen first, to fully understand the customers use case challenges and then perform detailed discovery and work with internal SMEs to propose the best solution Medecision can offer.

This role is part of our wider Sales Business, focusing on generating new business and whitespace conversion to qualified pipeline through outbound prospecting with the ultimate goal of closed won business. You will have the opportunity to work in a fast paced team with varied future customers and personalized training and career opportunities.

Day to Day Responsibilities

Generate new business pipeline primarily through prospecting outbound opportunities

Manage inbound leads that are driven by outbound effort

Nurture early-stage opportunities through partnership with Marketing teams

Gain interest through outbound cold calling customers and breaking into net new logos in assigned territory

Align with internal account teams

Identify key decision makers within new accounts and gain access to build relationships

Additionally, you will be required to participate in trade shows, industry events, networking dinners, executive group meetings as well as contributing market feedback for product enhancement with specific focus on the advancement of Population Health Management and payer solutions.

Location : Remote (US only)

What You'll Do (Duties and Responsibilities)

Actively own and drive the full cycle sales process of SaaS solutions. This includes performing as an individual contributor generating qualified opportunities that result in a pipeline minimum of 3x your annual multi-million-dollar objective.

Consistently achieve sales metrics which include pipeline and achievement of year-over-year quota attainment.

Must have a proven track record of following established sales processes and methodologies including discovery, deal qualification, facilitating corporate presentations, proposals and contracting new business.

Deliver a strong strategic sales planning, grounded in our clients' goals and objectives, with the ability to create an innovative service while supporting the vision for our business with an understanding of the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.

Define and translate your strategic vision into an actionable plan.

Establish, build, and maintain positive and professional external relationships at all decision levels within the assigned territory or business segment, while reinforcing Medecision's superiority as the partner of choice within your market division.

Build internal trusted partnerships at all levels of the organization by defining, addressing, and executing short- and long-term strategic initiatives.

Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work across the organization with multiple departments to establish common alignment.

Demonstrate a strong technical knowledge of software applications and their deployment.

Demonstrate strategic decision making and problem-solving skills with both critical and analytical reasoning skill. Attention to detail is critical.

Accept personal accountability in getting the job done.

Promote integrity, honesty, ethical conduct, and corporate values at all time.

Follow and comply with all security policies and procedures established by the organization, including adherence to HIPAA and HITRUST regulations.

Education and Experience

5-10+ years successful experience selling technology solutions within the Payer markets.

High degree of computer literacy using Windows (current versions), PowerPoint, Word, EXCEL.

An unwavering "hunter" quality with a proven capability to deliver new and add-on sales revenue as an individual contributor

Proficiency with Salesforce.com.

Strong command of challenges and risks in Health Plan, Integrated Delivery Network, Hospital, Payer Group, and TPA market.

Ability to develop and maintain executive / C-suite relationships.

Proven business development expertise, with the ability to leverage existing relationships and contacts within the industry, and strong negotiation skills. Must be comfortable closing complex transactions on a deadline.

Clearly demonstrated strengths in oral / written communications, analytical skills, and sales production.

Demonstrated ability to prospect, qualify and cultivate leads gained from cold calls, trade shows, webinars, and other sources this is a hunter position!

Demonstrated ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines, while providing timely follow up on open issues.

Willingness to travel 75%.

Bachelor's degree (advanced degree preferred)
