Salary : Range 58 $45.30 (step one) - $57.43 (step ten)
Work Schedule : Monday-Friday, core business hours are 8 : 00 am- 5 : 00 pm
Work Location : In-Person / telecommute (hybrid)- The primary work location for this position will be the Maleng Regional Justice Center (MRJC), with occasional coverage at the King County Courthouse as needed.
Job Duties
This position provides program support through project management to include : Providing outreach and technical training assistance to external partners and community specific to the Protection Order Portal and civil protection order process; aiding in continued maintenance and further development of resource and workflow materials for team members, external partners and community; support the enhancement of data management through our case management system PbK and Power BI reporting by working on projects such as closing cases, developing Setting Control report in partnership with PAO Data Analytics, maintaining updated CPO forms in PbK, etc.; providing secondary training and supervision to interns and volunteers.
This position will also provide advocacy coverage as needed for petitioners who seek civil protection orders with an emphasis on Domestic Violence Protection Orders to include : Intake and interviews with petitioners; support and assistance in completing protection order forms through the online protection order system; providing general information and assistance to the public on matters related to civil protection orders; accompaniment to court virtually and in-person as requested or appropriate; referral to social service providers and civil legal aid through project safety; professional use of judgment when balancing business priorities required. The Protection Order Advocacy Program receives requests for assistance via email, phone, and in person. The ability to triage and identify the level of need is critical.

Selection Process : Materials will be reviewed for qualifications, and the most competitive candidates may be invited to participate in a panel interview process. Employees with less than 2 years of service will receive .25 per hour less than the hourly salary table due to a mandatory contribution toward the Teamsters Pension Trust that was voted by members of Teamsters Local No. 117.
