The Financial Analyst is responsible for providing data-driven insights that support strategic decision-making within LifeCare Home Health Family of Agencies. This role assesses financial performance, creates forecasts, assists with budgeting, and supplies leadership with reports on trends, risks, and opportunities. The Financial Analyst works closely with executives, service line leaders, and the finance team to ensure accuracy, compliance, and accountability in financial matters.
Key Responsibilities :
Provides financial analysis support.Prepares operating and capital budgets.Develops financial operating forecasts, including statistics and payer mix.Conducts ongoing budget versus actual revenue and expense variance analyses.Creates and delivers management reports as needed or requested.Assists the sales team with various analytical tasks.Supports Human Resources / Recruiting in preparing management reports.Key Success Factors :
Analytical Expertise : Ability to perform complex financial analyses, interpret large datasets, and translate findings into actionable insights that support operational and strategic decision-making.Technical Proficiency : Strong understanding of financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, with proficiency in tools such as Excel, Power BI, and enterprise financial systems (Great Plains).Adaptability : Comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment with competing priorities and deadlines. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.25 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in healthcare or service industries.Strong knowledge of financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting.Proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools; experience with HRIS / ERP systems (Paylocity, QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar) is preferred.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to present complex data clearly and effectively to executives.High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Competencies :
