This role offers a hands-on opportunity to design, build, and maintain cloud-based data pipelines that support critical business workflows. As a Data Engineer III, you will work with large-scale datasets, implement robust ETL processes, and ensure data quality and accessibility for analytics and operational use. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable solutions while optimizing performance, security, and cost. This position emphasizes continuous improvement, automation, and innovation, providing the chance to influence data strategy and enable impactful decision-making across the organization. The role is fully remote, supporting a flexible and dynamic work environment.
Accountabilities :
- Develop, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud-based data pipelines from raw sources to feature stores, ensuring data quality, performance, and reliability.
- Translate business and product requirements into efficient data engineering solutions using PySpark, SQL, and cloud data engineering tools.
- Monitor production pipelines, troubleshoot issues, and implement continuous improvements to optimize speed, cost, and accuracy.
- Collaborate with colleagues, management, and clients to solve complex problems and deliver high-quality, documented solutions.
- Adhere to data security, privacy, and compliance policies, including HIPAA where applicable.
- Recommend improvements to existing processes and participate in review and governance activities.
- Support integration with unstructured data sources and cloud-based compute platforms, enabling advanced analytics and AI workflows.
Requirements
5+ years of experience with relational database systems (SQL Server preferred).4+ years of experience with cloud services and data engineering tools (Azure Data Factory preferred).4+ years of experience building PySpark pipelines and data workflows.Ability to produce high-quality, well-documented work and maintain focus in a fast-paced environment.Strong collaboration, problem-solving, and communication skills.Preferred : experience with Bicep , Git, Databricks, RESTful APIs, Agile development, and unstructured data sources.Understanding of CI / CD pipelines, testing, deployment, and release methodologies.Familiarity with data privacy and security principles, including HIPAA.Education equivalent to a Master’s or PhD in a data-related field is advantageous.Benefits
