Job descriptionWork in a unit with 2 labs and 1 prep / recovery area Handle an average of 4-5 cases per room per day Care for patients with conditions such as CAD and stemi's; manage various IR cases, including embolization, inari, ekos, vascular angiogram / angioplasty RN's do not scrub; responsible for sedation and monitoring using mac lab Utilize EPIC for charting Experience with balloon pumps for cath lab (no impella) On-call weekdays from 1730-0700 Staff self-scheduling, work four 10-hour shifts per week On-call requirement typically involves 2 days / week and 1-2 weekends per month; occasional holiday call as well Total call approximately 10 days / month with a 30-minute response time Floating requirements may include moving between cath lab and IR daily / weekly; IR skills required Scrubs provided for staff Orientation lasts 1-2 weeks Hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment
