RN - Med Surg - Local Contract

WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Med / Surg Tele Nurse for a contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Rome, NY.\n\nJob Function~\n

• Night Shift.\n
• 7pm to 7~30am.\n
• Prepares and administers (orally, subcutaneously, through an IV) and records prescribed medications.\n
• Reports adverse reactions to medications or treatments in accordance with the policy regarding the administration of medications by a licensed registered nurse.\n
• Educates patients on surgical procedures; Records patients' medical information and vital signs.\n
• Monitors and adjusts specialized equipment used on patients, and interprets and records. electronic displays.\n
• Using electrocardiogram (EKG) machines to continuously track heart performance.\n
• Analyzing EKG results to establish baselines and spot abnormalities; Recording EKG results to keep patient information accurate.\n\nJob Requirements~\n
• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) .\n
• Current RN license for New York.\n
• 2 years of acute Med / Surg RN experience is required.\n
