Unit : 8SW Neuro / Ortho Medical / Surgical

Employment Type : Travel RN

Specialty : Med / Surg Nursing

Shift : 12 Hour Nights (7 : 00 PM - 7 : 30 AM)

Hours per Week : 36

Assignment Duration : 12 weeks (Start : 10 / 6 / 2025, End : 12 / 31 / 2025)

Holiday Rotation : Every other holiday

Weekend Rotation : Every other weekend

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1,720 - $1,840

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active RN license in Iowa or compact state (required for travel nursing jobs)

Minimum 1 year of recent Medical / Surgical nursing experience

BLS certification (American Heart Association)

Ability to pass facility onboarding : background check, drug screen, health screenings, competency testing

Strong communication and teamwork skills for clinical support

Med / Surg RN Responsibilities

Provide high-quality patient care in the Neuro / Ortho Med / Surg unit

Monitor, assess, and document patient status and progress

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed

Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals

Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions

Participate in scheduled holiday and weekend rotations
