A Board Certified Gastroenterology Physician provides gastrointestinal care five days a week, conducting consultations, electronic progress notes, and inpatient on-call coverage. The position supports ongoing locum tenens opportunities with flexibility to extend based on availability. This medical role is situated at the Temple, TX VA Medical Center, accepting any state medical licenses and offering malpractice coverage and travel reimbursements.

Gastroenterology

Two (2) FTE Board Certified Gastroenterology Physicians available five (5) days a week, eight (8) hours a day to perform gastroenterologist services, and cover inpatient on-call rotations. In addition to usual gastroenterologist duties gastroenterologists shall perform consults, complete electronic progress notes, schedule prescribing medications, and other duties associated with inpatient on-call coverage. This is a government opportunity , so ANY state license is accepted.

Ongoing locum tenens with option to extend.

We cover hourly pay, malpractice and travel.
