Overview
Technical Product Architect (Salesforce) - Information Officer, based in Washington, DC, United States, to lead the design and implementation of Salesforce solutions that drive strategic business outcomes.
Role and Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performing Salesforce solutions that align with IFC's strategic objectives and enterprise architecture standards.
- Collaborate with WBG Enterprise Architecture Team and the Office of Information Security to ensure Salesforce solutions adhere to architectural principles, security policies, and compliance requirements.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into robust technical designs and implementation plans.
- Provide deep technical expertise on Salesforce best practices, including data modeling, integration patterns, and platform optimization.
- Stay abreast of Salesforce platform updates and industry trends, proactively recommending innovative solutions.
- Oversee the integration of Salesforce with other enterprise systems using APIs, middleware, and event-driven architectures.
- Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, facilitating communication between technical and non-technical teams.
- Drive adoption of modern Salesforce development and operational practices, including CI / CD, automated testing, version control, release management, Agile and DevSecOps, and monitoring / incident management.
- Mentor and guide technical teams, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
Selection Criteria
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.At least 7 years of IT experience, including 5+ years of Salesforce experience in the Financial Services industry.Proven expertise in Salesforce architecture, multi-cloud implementations, and integration with ERP and data warehouses.Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, and REST / SOAP APIs.Strong understanding of architecture principles, security frameworks, and data governance with experience working with security and architecture teams.Ability to analyze complex technical challenges and drive innovative solutions.Experience with Salesforce DevOps tools such as Git, Copado, or Gearset.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for diverse audiences.Current certifications required (e.g., Salesforce Certified Technical Architect, Application Architect, System Architect); multiple certifications are a strong advantage.WBG Culture Attributes : Sense of Urgency; Thoughtful Risk Taking; Empowerment and Accountability.
