Lead Coding Specialist

A company is looking for a Lead Coding Specialist - ProFee.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct regular monitoring for accuracy of medical record coding and abstracting

Provide coding information and advice to a team of coders and maintain records of audits

Code diagnoses and procedures according to ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 guidelines

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required

3 years of Outpatient coding experience, with at least 1 year in a specialty oversight role

CPC (Certified Professional Coder) certification required
