Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An exciting opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) serving elementary students in Wylie, TX, with a pediatric focus in a school setting. This contract role runs through the current school year and offers a full-time schedule with 40 hours per week, beginning as soon as possible through May 22nd. The caseload includes kindergarten through 4th-grade students, totaling 79 students, with 31 designated as speech-only cases that you will manage directly. You will also supervise a full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).
Preferred candidates are bilingual, but monolingual professionals are also encouraged to apply. The role involves conducting ARDs (Admissions, Review, and Dismissals), providing targeted therapy, and completing necessary report writing. Initial work will likely include three days on-site to become familiar with the students and school environment, transitioning to a hybrid schedule with the option to work remotely three days per week and on-site two days per week.
