ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop PCB designs based on customer input and industry standards (VITA, PICMG).
• Design custom high-speed backplanes (VME / 64X, VXS, VPX, cPCI, ATCA) with DFM principles.
• Prepare backplane schematics, check plots, and Gerber files while ensuring compliance with ISO processes.
• Interface with customers, PCB fabrication shops, and manufacturing / testing personnel.
• Participate in design reviews and troubleshoot engineering challenges.
