Pay Rate : $47 / hour

Schedule & Hours :

  • Both shift options available : Day, Night
  • 12 hour shifts
  • 36 hours / week

Position Summary :

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) team in Pleasant Prairie, WI. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing patients requiring close monitoring and complex care interventions. The position involves applying the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care in a dynamic and collaborative setting.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide direct and individualized nursing care based on patient assessment.
  • Administer IVs, medications, and treatments accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Monitor patients’ conditions and report changes to appropriate healthcare providers.
  • Coordinate patient care with interdisciplinary team members.
  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and recovery processes.
  • Accurately document nursing actions and patient outcomes in line with regulatory and policy requirements.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to urgent situations or changes in patient status.
  • Maintain a clean and organized patient care environment.
  • Actively support department goals, quality assurance programs, and professional development efforts.
  • Participate in staff mentoring, orientation, and team-building initiatives.

    Job Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree in Nursing (required).
  • Valid RN license in the State of Wisconsin.
  • BLS certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross) or ability to obtain within 6 weeks of hire.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Minimum 1 year of IMCU or acute care experience preferred.
