The salary for this position is competitive and falls within the range of $50,000 to $60,000 commensurate with experience and qualifications Responsibilities / Duties / Functions / Tasks Identify and prospect potential c ustomers for our manufacturing and production facilities.
Understand our manufacturing and production capabilities and apply this knowledge to find opportunities.
Develop strong customer relationships.
Collaborate with the sales team to meet Annual Operating Plan goals.
Conduct product presentations and demonstrations. Coordinate, prepare and deliver sales proposals.
Keep abreast of industry trends and competitor activities. Knowledge of government contracting is a plus.
Attend industry events and conferences.
Assist with customer installations.
Assist with warehouse activities including system integration.
Up to 30 percent travel will be required to meet with clients and attend trade shows. Ability to understand technical drawings.
Knowledge of production processes such as routing and travelers.
Hands-on manufacturing experience is a plus. Prior military maintenance experience (especially in maintenance) is a plus.

Qualifications Minimum Requirements High School Diploma with manufacturing related certifications and / or college degree in related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales and / or manufacturing.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Basic understanding of the defense and simulation industry is a plus.
Understanding of ISO, CMMI, 6‐Sigma, Kanban, or Lean is a plus.
Ability to drive a forklift and perform other manufacturing tasks.
Valid driver's license.
US citizenship required due to the nature of our work.
Ability to obtain and maintain necessary security clearances as required for projects.
Willing to travel up to a full month at a time. Essential Mental Requirements Excellent written and spoken communication skills for documentation, intra‐team, and interdisciplinary communication.

Essential Physical Requirements While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or listen.
The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs of sales / marketing materials for transport.
The employee is occasionally required to assist with the transport and assembly of a tradeshow booth and items.
