Job Description : We are looking for a strong individual to assist the general manager with the day-to-day operations of the restaurant; including staff management, customer service and inventory.
Responsibilities :
- Hire, train and mentor new staff, set job expectations and conduct performance reviews
- Resolve guest questions and complaints and ensure a positive dining experience
- Place orders for ingredients, utensils and equipment and manage inventory
- Schedule shifts and assign table sections to waitstaff
- Manage payroll
- Ensure the restaurant follows health and safety regulations
- Record income and expenses, and balance cash registers
- Coordinate between back- and front- of- house staff
- Use problem-solving and decision-making skills to resolve issues
