Job Summary

IKO, a growing modern and contemporary brand of cookware and kitchenware products named most innovative cookware vendor by a major national department store, is looking for an experienced, energetic and motivated, result-oriented National Sales Manager to help grow our market share in the industry and deliver outstanding support to our retail partners.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Open and develop new key national accounts
  • Maintain and grow existing retail relationships
  • Cultivate new key account leads
  • Design sales support collateral including slides, reports, story boards, samples, etc. - for presentation to retail industry decision makers including buyers, DMMs and retail execs
  • Identify and report on market trends and niches to direct product development efforts
  • Assist in the development and management of our product and brand portfolio
  • Work with retail partners to develop our brands and presence including product positioning, placement, pricing and promotion
  • Develop and execute trade show strategies including including assisting in the conception, design and layout of the booth

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelors Degree or substantive work experience
  • Proven track record in selling key major national accounts in Consumer Goods preferably cookware and kitchenware
  • Existing relationships with category buyers, DMMs,, GMMs, and retail exec of major national accounts
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Computer proficiency
  • Ability to work both independently as well as part of a team
  • Positive can do attitude
  • Passion for cooking - a definite plus.
  • Up to 50% travel
