Skilled Manufacturing Operator
We are seeking a detail-oriented and mechanically inclined Slitting / Plating Line Operator to join our team. This role is critical to our production process and involves operating machinery that slits steel coils and galvanizes the material through a plating bath.
Responsibilities
Operate the slitting line to convert 7-inch wide steel coils into -inch parts.
Run parts through a plating bath to galvanize the material and ensure proper drying.
Perform basic equipment changeovers and routine maintenance.
Assist in other areas of the facility as needed, supporting a small and agile team.
Learn and apply advanced process knowledge-this is not a button-pushing role.
Conduct small welds as needed (training provided; prior welding experience not required).
Essential Skills
Manufacturing experience.
Assembly line operation.
Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Proficiency with hand tools.
Mechanical aptitude.
Ability to perform inspections.
Capability for heavy lifting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to learn quickly and think critically in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Strong attention to detail.
Comfortable working in a hands-on role with industrial equipment.
Willingness to be cross-trained and support various functions within the facility.
No prior welding experience required-training will be provided.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
