Job Description
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Experience :
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an administrative support role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to handle frequent interruptions, balance multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality
- Strong organizational and time management skills and attention to detail
- Advanced computer and related software skills to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet, etc.
- Ability to collaborate and communicate with individuals at all levels within the department and externally to support department needs
- Ability to interpret policies and procedures to proactively resolve issues or improve processes
- Ability to identify problems and implement or recommend solutions
- Drafting, proofreading, and editing skills
- Prior experience working with the Slate Program
Administrative Assistant Job Responsibilities :
Provide administrative support for the department's program and the Associate Department Head involved in the programCoordinate the day-to-day operations of the programServe as liaisonOrganize various eventsMaintain all records including records including student e-mail list, database, registration documents, and websiteProvide administrative support for the program, including conducting research & preparing reportsRespond to information requests from internal / external contacts and manage correspondenceSupport Associate Head of the programCompose routine correspondence and draft non-routine correspondenceDevelop, implement, and maintain / improve processes related to supporting the program operationsCoordinate events, including room reservations, setups, resource needs, and cateringUpdate and maintain program mailing lists, databases, and websitesOnly those lawfully authorized to work in the designated country associated with the position will be considered.Please note that all Position start dates and duration are estimates and may be reduced or lengthened based upon a client's business needs and requirements.Benefits :
