Maintenance Assistant Technician (2nd shift)

Under the direct supervision of the Maintenance Director or his assistant, the Maintenance Tech has responsibility for the boiler room, electrical room, mechanical room and all mechanical equipment. Operates Pleasant Acres motor vehicles Performs all phases of all levels of maintenance mechanic work. Employment is contingent on successful completion of the Pre-employment screenings, criminal background check and Medicaid Exclusion screening

Requires extensive and progressive experience in Maintenance work with appropriate schooling or tech certification, but not necessary.

• May be required to work overtime as assigned or requested (snow removal, disasters, etc.)
• Conducts preventive maintenance, audits, inspections, completes work orders promptly as assigned in a prompt and time efficient manner.

Assist in the upkeep of grounds and providing security to the institution as directed.
