WHO YOU ARE :

Duties & Responsibilities :

Work involving the application of engineering skills and practices which includes plan preparation, detail drawing, reports etc.

for geotechnical / transportation / bridge design projects.

  • Work directly with Designers and Engineers during various phases of a project as assigned.
  • Understand and apply engineering principles and practices.
  • Produce large scale, complex drawings.
  • Manage deadlines and prioritize assignments.
  • Effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
  • Perform all work in a safe and responsible manner, in accordance with the Health and Safety Plan.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

  • High School Graduate or equivalent required
  • Associate Degree and / or Civil Engineering Technician Certificate a plus
  • 1 or more years AutoCAD / Civil 3D experience
  • 1 or more years OpenRoads / MicroStation experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to visit and safely traverse construction and project sites and complying with all applicable safety codes and requirements.
