Payroll Analyst

As a Payroll Analyst, you will be responsible for administering and analyzing payroll data to ensure compliance, accuracy, and timeliness. You will play a critical role in optimizing payroll processes while adhering to tax regulations and company policies within the tech industry.
Key Responsibilities :
- Process payroll for employees across multiple states or countries, including salary, hourly wages, bonuses, and commissions.
- Ensure compliance with payroll laws, tax regulations, and company policies
- Analyze payroll data and resolve discrepancies, ensuring accuracy in reporting.
- Perform audits to validate payroll entries and compliance with legal standards.
- Handle employee inquiries related to payroll, deductions, and benefits with professionalism and transparency.
- Assist with year-end reporting, including W-2 / 1099 processes and tax filings.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to address payroll-related needs and streamline processes.
- Utilize payroll software (such as Workday, ADP, or similar platforms) for efficient processing and reporting.
- Maintain accurate payroll documentation for audits and compliance checks.
Requirements :
2+ years of experience in payroll processing, preferably within the tech industry or a dynamic environment.Knowledge of multi-state payroll regulations, taxes, benefits, and calculations.Familiarity with payroll software (e.g., ADP, Workday, or other ERP systems).Excellent analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.Strong understanding of payroll laws and labor regulations.Ability to manage tight deadlines and handle sensitive payroll data confidentially.High school diploma required; bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, HR, or related field preferred.
