Responsibilities and Duties
Conduct comprehensive wound assessments and develop individualized care plansPerform wound care procedures such as debridement, advanced dressing applications, negative pressure wound therapy, and MIST therapyDocument all care accurately and completely in the electronic medical record system in accordance with Medicare and company requirementsEducate patients, families, and caregivers on wound care management, prevention, and follow-up careCollaborate with physicians, facility staff, and care teams to ensure coordinated patient careMonitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as neededMaintain compliance with all applicable federal and state laws, including Medicare documentation and billing standardsParticipate in periodic training, audits, and quality assurance reviewsAdditional Information
