Position Responsibilities

  • Obtaining health histories and performing physical assessments for the purpose of assessing the Patients health status.
  • Assessing Patients who have sustained work related exposures, infectious disease or injuries, or who become acutely ill while on duty.
  • Treating Patients as indicated in accordance with treatment protocols, Employers administrative policies and procedure, Occupational Health Centers policies and procedures and infection control policies and procedures.
  • Performing case management / monitoring services on all Patients who are referred to consulting physicians / agencies for treatment of work related illnesses / injuries or to determine fitness for duty evaluations.
  • Providing services to Employers drug and alcohol testing program as its Medical Review Officer

    • Qualifications

  • Board Certified / Board Eligible in Occupation Medicine, Internal or Family Medicine
  • FL Medical License
  • Prior experience a plus
  • This is a full time, benefits eligible position. There is flexibility for this position to be Per Diem (as needed) or Part time
