Sr. DevOps engineer

This client wants senior DevOps candidates who are proactive problem solvers, enjoy connecting people to get things done, and have a PERSISTENT attitude. This senior role will broker deployment schedules and approaches between enterprise DevOps team and the Frontend Engineer Tech Leads to create efficiencies, enhance developer experience, and ensure a smooth pipeline from code complete to production deployment. The sweet spot we found is someone who has dealt with both enterprise and start-ups.

The aim of this team is to decentralize DevOps practice, accelerate workflows, and modernize processes so the frontend teams can focus on development. We manage the pipelines, tooling, and automation that power the frontend CI, working in conjunction with developers to continuously innovate and improve workflows.

We have significant autonomy in shaping our roadmap and are empowered to experiment with new tools and technologies.

Skills :

• AWS experience
• On-premises CloudBees solutions expertise
• Deep knowledge of the Jenkins ecosystem
• Proven ability to measure and improve code delivery to production
• Strong scripting skills : Ansible, Groovy, Bash; experience with YAML-based configuration
• Integration experience between Bitbucket and other repository systems
• Familiarity with Git Flow and multibranch pipeline strategies
• Experience configuring and working with dynamic agents
• Monorepo management experience
• Proficient in Dockerizing work environments
• AWS Specifics :
• Understanding of core AWS services : EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation, Lambda, and RDS
• Familiarity with AWS networking, security best practices, and IAM roles / policies
• Experience with AWS for CI / CD automation
• Knowledge of deploying and managing applications in AWS (including containerized workloads with ECS / EKS)
