Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with ARRT (CT) certification, MD license, and at least 1 year of experience for night and weekend coverage at an acute care hospital.

Responsibilities

Position is based in an acute care hospital with Level II Trauma designation

Work in the CT Scan unit with a focus on radiology and cardiology imaging

Average daily caseload is 80-90 scans per 24 hours, divided among techs

Shift options include 12 : 00 PM to 12 : 30 AM on Thursday and Friday, and 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM on Saturday and Sunday

Weekend shifts are required

No floating to other units or facilities required

Uses Cerner and McKesson for charting; prior experience with these systems is not specified

No on-call requirements

This is a strict no-tobacco facility and candidates must pass a nicotine drug screen

Modules completed during orientation and annually through the Relias / Net Learning portal

Navy blue scrubs are required

Free parking available with badge access

Return staff must have been gone for at least 1 year before being eligible for rehire

Only one request for time off is permitted

Locals are accepted at the same bill rate

Requirements

ARRT (CT) certification required

Maryland radiography license required; license required if applicable

Current BLS certification required

Minimum 1 year of CT experience required

First-time travelers are accepted

Pending state license accepted for consideration

Must provide two supervisor references for consideration
