Pricing Director

As the Pricing Director, you will have the exciting opportunity to establish and enhance our pricing strategies, utilizing data and insights to keep us competitive and profitable in the market. Your Responsibilities Include :

• Leading and mentoring the Pricing team to create strategies that foster both growth and profitability.
• Designing and executing pricing frameworks that optimize customer value, competitive positioning, and margin impact.
• Conducting thorough analyses on price elasticity and promotional effectiveness to inform merchant decisions.
• Developing innovative margin optimization strategies, including dynamic promotional pricing models and markdown frameworks to enhance profitability.
• Educating merchants on cost structure models to improve decision-making and boost category profitability.
• Monitoring the market and competitor pricing to provide insights and recommendations on our price competitiveness.
• Identifying essential Floor & Decor resources and systems necessary for effective pricing measurement and reporting.
• Assessing and improving our current pricing processes to scale capabilities through a blend of creativity and analytical rigor.
• Overseeing the implementation of pricing systems to ensure seamless execution across all channels.
• Leveraging AI-driven tools and advanced analytics to sharpen decision-making, enhance accuracy, and increase operational speed.
• Ensuring adherence to pricing regulations and fostering transparency that builds customer trust.
• Contributing to the development of a roadmap for evolving Pricing into a best-in-class function aligned with our business growth trajectory.

Physical / Sensory Requirements

This role primarily involves sedentary work, which requires the ability to exert 10 - 20 pounds of force occasionally, and / or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. While the role involves sitting most of the time, some walking or standing may be required for brief periods.
