Assembly Technician - Refined Fuels

Overview

Join to apply for the Assembly Technician - Refined Fuels role at SkyMark Refuelers, LLC . We are seeking an experienced Assembly Technician in Kansas City, MO. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pneumatic systems plumbing, assembly technician experience, and knowledge of fuel delivery piping for refined fuel trucks. Experience with hydraulic systems, hydraulic Power take off systems, 12 and 24 volt wiring, and the ability to perform chassis prep work are required. In-cab electrical systems experience is also preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform a wide variety of fitting, assembly, installation, and alignment of components to operating requirements.
• Work as outlined in a build order or change order with efficiency and accuracy.
• Build all units consistent with company standards.
• Read and interpret schematics to determine sequence, tooling requirements and tolerances.
• Install 12V / 24V electrical systems and special components for the truck design.
• Verify conformance of workpieces to specifications and align or fit parts accordingly.
• Position and secure components; move parts manually or with hoist / crane.
• Document work performed and maintain shop and personal equipment and tooling.
• Keep the shop area clean and ensure trucks and equipment are neat and presentable.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
