The NDE Assistant supports certified Nondestructive Examination (NDE) Technicians in performing inspections and evaluations on piping, equipment, and structures to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and client specifications. This entry-level role involves assisting with equipment setup, material preparation, data collection, and general site support while learning NDE techniques and safety protocols.

WORKING CONDITIONS
Internal - Work is normally performed in a climate-controlled office environment (10%).
External - Work is normally performed in a field environment with exposure to various weather conditions (90%).
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Work is physically demanding and involves frequent standing, walking, and bending. It requires strong visual acuity and auditory perception, with or without corrective devices. Candidates must possess basic mathematical skills and be proficient in computer software. The position may require extended work hours, including weekends, to meet project deadlines and reporting requirements. Additionally, frequent travel to industrial and oilfield locations, often in remote areas, is necessary.
