Job Description : Environmental Health & Safety Lead
The EHS Lead is responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations while overseeing safe practices within the LNG equipment storage and preservation site. This role involves developing and implementing safety protocols, conducting risk assessments, ensuring proper hazardous material handling, and leading training initiatives for personnel. The EHS Lead plays a critical role in maintaining a safe work environment, preventing incidents, and ensuring operational compliance with industry standards and government regulations. Strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to risk mitigation are essential for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities :
- Develop, implement, and oversee EHS programs to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate hazards.
- Lead incident investigations, report findings, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials in alignment with environmental standards.
- Provide EHS training and guidance to site personnel, reinforcing safety culture and regulatory adherence.
- Collaborate with operations teams to ensure safe equipment preservation and maintenance practices.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reports for regulatory compliance and internal record-keeping.
- Liaise with regulatory agencies and industry bodies to stay up to date on evolving safety standards.
Qualifications and Requirements :
Minimum of 5 years of experience in an EHS role, preferably within LNG, energy, or industrial storage operations.Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant regulatory standards.Certification in EHS-related disciplines (such as OSHA 30-Hour, CSP, or CIH) is a plus.Experience leading safety programs, training initiatives, and incident investigations.Additional Skills :

Outdoor yard environment sometimes within a warehouse and in Office.Full-time position with standard working hours. M-F.Potential for occasional travel to other project locations In Louisiana.
