Clinic Nurse

Job Title : RNJob DescriptionThe RN will assist the provider throughout the clinic with duties including but not limited to : Preparing patients for scheduled proceduresRetrieving the initial basic condition of patients, creating nursing history, and reporting to the appropriate practitionerAssisting providers with examinations and proceduresMonitoring and ensuring the accuracy of recording on patient medical records.

Maintaining all required reports, records, statistics, etc.Ensuring an adequate stock of supplies and well-maintained equipmentInspecting the area daily for compliance with policies, procedures, regulations, and standards and taking corrective action when violations occurScheduling all outside patient appointments per physician order and relaying information accurately to patientsTaking calls from hospitals / nursing homes and relaying appropriate information to the practitioner in a timely mannerAssuring test results are received and relayed to the patient in a timely mannerCompleting the medical orientation checklistInitiating appropriate patient educationHard SkillsPatient preparation for proceduresNursing history creationAssistance with examinations and proceduresMedical record accuracyStock and equipment maintenanceCompliance inspectionPatient appointment schedulingInformation relayTest result managementMedical orientation completionPatient educationSoft SkillsAttention to detailEffective communicationTime managementProblem-solvingAbout ActalentActalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
