We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Inventory Control Manage r from the Automotive Industry to oversee our inventory management and control processes for the Fort Worth, TX area .
As an Inventory Control Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels, implementing efficient inventory management systems, and ensuring the availability of products for our operations.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement inventory control procedures and strategies to optimize inventory accuracy, minimize stock discrepancies, and maximize inventory turnover.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with purchasing and production teams to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained to meet operational needs.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to reconcile physical inventory counts with system records and identify discrepancies or variances.
- Analyze inventory data and generate reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and trends to provide insights and make data-driven decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand, plan procurement, and coordinate inventory replenishment.
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of inventory management software and systems to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Develop and enforce inventory control policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
- Train and mentor team members on inventory control processes and systems.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement strategies to enhance inventory management efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to optimize lead times, minimize stockouts, and manage relationships.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience) required.
- Proven experience in inventory control or related roles, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management best practices, inventory control methods, and inventory valuation principles required.
- Proficient in using inventory management software and systems, Excel and SAP required.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory tracking and management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to effectively train and mentor team members.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards related to inventory control.
