About the role :
Barron Lighting Group is seeking an experienced and versatile IT Manager to lead all technology operations for our growing $40+ million manufacturing and distribution company. This is a critical, high-impact role where you will act as both a strategic leader and a hands-on technical expert, overseeing IT infrastructure, ERP / WMS / eCommerce systems, cybersecurity, and end-user support. We are looking for a proactive problem solver with a strong background in people and project management and a proven ability to lead IT initiatives that align with business goals.

Systems & Infrastructure Management
- Oversee the health, performance, and security of all IT infrastructure, including on-premises and cloud servers, network systems (LAN / WAN, Wi-Fi), firewalls, and storage solutions.
- Ensure Google Workspace (GSuite) and Active Directory, including user accounts, security groups, and policies is administered and maintained.
- Ensure IT asset lifecycle management from procurement through retirement is being performed properly
- Prepare rolling 12 month spend analysis (historical) and budget (future) including all SAAS subscriptions, hardware and software acquisitions, personnel, training, consulting and administrative costs
ERP & Business Application Support
Serve as back up support administrator for Sage 500 ERP as well as eCommerce and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).Collaborate with department heads to optimize workflows and leverage ERP / WMS functionality to improve business processes.Provide end-user training, support, and troubleshooting, working closely with vendors for fixes, upgrades, and system enhancements.Network & Infrastructure
Provide strategic leadership and governance over enterprise-wide network and infrastructure architecture, ensuring alignment with business goals, cybersecurity standards, and long-term I.T. strategy.Develop and oversee the infrastructure roadmap, spanning on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments to ensure scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.Lead and mentor the IT Enterprise Architect and related teams, driving architectural consistency, innovation, and operation excellence.Data Warehouse & Business Intelligence
Architect and oversee the evolution of our data warehouse, ensuring its design is scalable, efficient, and capable of supporting advanced analytics and reporting needs.Define data governance standards, modeling best practices, and ETL / ELT processes.Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate data requirements into effective technical solutions.Ecommerce Platform
Lead the technical architecture for our ecommerce platform, ensuring high availability, security, and seamless customer experience.Design solutions for integrating the platform with inventory management, payment gateways, and fulfillment systems.Analyze and optimize platform performance to support high-traffic events and business scalability.IT Security & Disaster Recovery
Develop, implement, and enforce IT security policies to safeguard company data and assets.Maintain and test backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans.Stay informed on emerging cybersecurity threats and deploy appropriate safeguards.Help Desk & End-User Support
Lead and manage the IT help desk function, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues.Provide backup support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other end-user hardware / software as needed.Strategic Planning & Project Management
Develop and maintain a long-term IT roadmap and strategy aligned with business objectives.Serve as strategic lead of implementation of new ERP, WMS and E-commerce platforms over the next 2-5 years.Lead cross-functional technology projects from planning through implementation, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.Manage the IT budget and negotiate with vendors for cost-effective solutions.What you bring to our vision
Bachelor's Degree in I.T. Related field7-10 Years experience in IT, 5 in a management role.Leadership and team management abilities.Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration.Strong project management and organizational skills.Technical expertise in ERP (Sage 500 helpful), networking, cloud computing (Google Workspace) and infrastructure management.

The pay range for this role is :
127,900 - 141,800 USD per year(Barron Office)
