Job descriptionProject scheduling Budgeting School design and construction Emergency response Waste disposal Demolition Assists in contract development and oversight of remediation contractors Establishes and maintains project budgets, including contract management, and schedules pertaining to environmental investigations and remediation efforts Provides technical advice to Office of Environmental Health & Safety (OEHS) Management in terms of oversight of environmental site assessment contractors as well as contractor budget and schedule control Minimum of 7 years of full time paid experience in management of environmental investigations and remediation conducted under the direction of the Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) or comparable regulatory agency Site investigation and remedial strategies; federal, state and local environmental regulations; DTSC, Regional Water Quality Control Board (RWQCB) and South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) protocols Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelor’s degree, preferably in Geology, Engineering or related field California Professional Registration (Certified Hydrogeologist, Professional Engineer, Professional Geologist) preferred Salary Range : $124,000-$129,000 Medical, Vision, & Dental – 100% covered for the employee Life and Disability Insurance 10.5 days of Vacation pay (Accrued) 6 days of Sick pay (Available Immediately) 13 days of Holiday pay 3% Employer Contribution 401k (After 1 year of service) Monthly Stipend for Cell Phone Laptop for work purposes
The Tsui Group is seeking a candidate who is qualified and experienced in educational facility construction projects to serve as a Site Assessment Project Manager for a large educational client within Los Angeles County with the below duties :
Reviews and coordinates work conducted by environmental site assessment Master Services Agreement (MSA) contractors in the areas of :
- Phase I Environmental Site Assessment
- Soils Disposition Evaluation (Compliance with Specification 01 4524)
- Soils Evaluations (applicability of SCAQMD) Rule 1466)
- Health / Safety Risk Assessment
- Preliminary Environmental Assessment
- Remedial Investigation / Feasibility Study
- Public Participation Plan
- Preparation and implementation of Removal Action Workplans / Remedial Action Plans
- Poly chlorinated biphenyl survey and mitigation
Prepares and coordinates the environmental review process for individual projects with the Facilities Services Division (“Facilities”) requirements for :
