As an unarmed patrol professional with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and remaining a visible presence throughout a retail or mall location. You will interact with the public, offer exceptional customer service, and be a key part of creating a secure environment for everyone on site. Fri10 : 00 AM - 09 : 00 PM

Sat10 : 00 AM - 09 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond appropriately to emergencies as needed.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location and its perimeter, observing for unusual activity and helping to deter potential issues.

Maintain detailed and accurate records of incidents, observations, and activities encountered during patrols.

Assist with access control, helping to monitor entry and exit points to support authorized access to the location.

Work collaboratively with location staff and Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns.

Remain visible and approachable to the public, providing assistance or information as requested.

Availability across various days and shifts

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements :

Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.

Be at least 21 years of age.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
