Certifications : BLS, NRP, STABLE (preferred)

Must-Have :

Experience in a Level III NICU

Experience with micropreemies

Experience with intubated and vented neonates

Experience with delivery and transport (preferred)

Familiarity with O2 therapy, nitric oxide, CPAP, and chest tube management

Description :

This facility is a Level II Trauma Center with a focus on trauma, maternity, and neonatal care.

There are 167 beds available for patient care.

Covid vaccination is required for all staff.

The unit handles patients including micropreemies and those with respiratory distress and neonatal abstinence syndrome.

Patient ratios vary from 1 : 1 to 1 : 3 on both days and nights.

Support on the unit includes a CNA and in-house medical professionals available 24 / 7.

Charting is performed using an EPIC system.

Scheduling includes a weekend rotation every other week with no call.

There is flexibility in requesting time off, allowing up to 7 days.
