Job Title : Civil Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a Civil Engineer to work within our Civil Site division. This person can be entry level as long as they have some experience / exposure to AutoCAD! You will be responsible to handle design site layouts, grading, road designs, and utility layouts, including sanitary and storm sewer systems, stormwater drainage and quality control, water lines, and soil erosion control for projects in Kentucky and neighboring states. The role involves participating in project development and design, maintaining project schedules, and supporting plan development and production.
Responsibilities
Design site layouts, grading, and roadways for rural and urban areas.
Develop sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and water line designs.
Create stormwater drainage and quality control systems.
Prepare utility layouts and soil erosion control designs.
Assist in project development by maintaining schedules and plan production.
Perform quantity take-offs and support project planning.
Essential Skills
Proficient in AutoCAD.
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with Carlson Civil Design is a plus.
One to two years of site design experience preferred.
Willingness to learn hydraulic and hydrology computer programs.
Interest in the planning process and collaboration with local Planning and Zoning offices.

This position is based in our Lexington office, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.85 - $33.65 / hr.
