Fire Equipment Mechanic (BC-11)

Overview

Repairs, modifies, tests and maintains fire fighting apparatus, rescue boats and trailers, and automotive equipment; and performs other related duties as required.

Distinguishing Characteristics : This class is distinguished by its primary responsibility for repairing, modifying and maintaining fire fighting apparatus, rescue boats and trailers, and automotive equipment at the independent journey level.
