JOB DESCRIPTION As a Service Writer, you are expected to maintain the highest quality service for customers with a high tone and positive attitude. Be the liaison between our automotive technicians and the customers, taking good care of customers and genuinely caring about their needs.

Responsibilities : Record marketing data such as referral sources and send data to the Marketing Department.

Collect payments for weekly deposits and assist in cash handling.

Make appointments and contact customers for follow-up calls.

Schedule future vehicle repair and maintenance.

Deliver inspection reports to customers and relay the importance of the recommended work.

Find, source, order, receive parts, and organize them.

Assist in assigning vehicle work to technicians.

Qualifications : Knowledge about parts for different makes and models of vehicles, both foreign and domestic.

Ability to order vehicle parts independently.

At least 3 years of service writing experience in the automotive profession.

Detail-oriented with good communication skills.

Sales skills.

Computer skills including Excel, Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Point of Sale systems.

Ability to type at least 45 words per minute.

License Requirements : Clean Driver’s License.

Drug-Free Workplace.

Proficient in English with strong speech, writing, and listening skills.

Authorized to work in the US for a US employer.

Education Requirements : High School Graduate or Equivalent.

Not Including Sales and Production-Based Incentives Upwards Of $25,000.

The position is based in a normal shop environment. Physical activities such as reaching, kneeling, bending, squatting, and lifting objects over 50 pounds are part of daily activities. The working environment consists of exposure to fumes, chemicals, dust, high noise levels, and weather conditions both inside and outside.
