  • Unit Overview :

    Join the IMCU / PCU team caring for critically ill and step-down patients. The unit manages complex cases including neuro, cardiac, trauma, and respiratory diagnoses.

    Unit Specifics :

  • Common Diagnoses : Neuro, Cardiac, Trauma, COPD, DKA, Sepsis, MI, CV step-down, post-op care
  • Specialty Equipment : Temporary pacers, chest tubes, arterial lines, BiPAP, Neptune VAPO
  • Ventilator Patients : Chronic ventilator patients (RT assistance required)
  • Patient Population : Adults, 18+ years
  • Unit Size : 64 beds (15 designated for Neuro patients)
  • Requirements :

  • Minimum 2 years of IMCU / PCU experience
  • Current NY RN License verified via NURSYS and all active RN licenses
  • AHA BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
  • EPIC EMR experience required
  • Up-to-date resume including travel experience
  • 2 recent IMCU charge / manager references
  • Skills checklist matching specialty
  • Driver’s license with address matching demographics
  • RTO must be included at submission
