Translator and Training Support Specialist

Location : Upper Sandusky, OH

Shifts : 2nd (2 : 00 PM – 10 : 15 PM) & 3rd (10 : 00 PM – 6 : 15 AM)

Schedule : Full-Time | Pay : Based on experience

Position Summary

The Translator & Training Support Specialist ensures clear and accurate communication across multilingual teams. This role provides real-time translation (English–Creole), supports training and onboarding, and helps adapt materials to meet the needs of a diverse workforce. The specialist works closely with HR, Training, and Operations to maintain consistency, safety, and understanding across all departments.

Key Responsibilities

Provide real-time translation for employees, leads, and supervisors.

Translate safety materials, work instructions, and training content.

Support new hire orientations and on-the-job training.

Bridge communication between employees and leadership to foster inclusion.

Conduct production floor walkthroughs to address communication or safety issues.

Maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times.

Qualifications

Bilingual in English and Creole (required)

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment

Translation, interpretation, or training experience preferred

Excellent attention to detail and organization

Willingness to work assigned shift and occasional overtime

Work Environment

Manufacturing / production setting

Moderate noise and machinery exposure

PPE required per company guidelines
