Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time Special Education teaching opportunity in Bolingbrook, IL offers a dynamic role supporting K-12 students in a variety of classroom settings. Serving elementary and high school levels, this position requires an active Illinois LBSI and PEL certification.

Responsibilities include developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) to support students with diverse learning needs, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes life skills development and academic growth.

Key qualifications and experience :

• Valid Illinois LBSI (Learning Behavior Specialist I) and PEL (Professional Educator License) certifications
• Experience working with students in special education and life skills classrooms
• Ability to manage different types of classroom environments and adapt instruction accordingly
• Strong munication skills and collaboration with educators, parents, and support staff

This role is contracted on a W-2 basis for the current school year with a continuation option for the 2025-2026 school year. The full-time schedule totals 37.5 hours per week.
