Automotive Technician (A Tech)

Compensation : $45.00 - $55.00 Per Hour Flat Rate (depending on experience and skill level)

Schedule : Full-time, 5-day work week

Location : Sandy, UT (84070)

A well-established, family-owned repair shop in Orem is looking to add one A-Level Technicians or one strong B++ Technician to their team that can PRODUCE HOURS! This shop thrives on professionalism, teamwork, and top-tier training, creating an environment where technicians are supported to grow and excel.

They've invested in the latest technology, including Tekmetric, DVI, and a full suite of scan tools , and back their team with industry-leading coaching and a full-time on-staff trainer . Training is extensive—both on-site and off-site—with regular vendor-led sessions to keep the team sharp and ahead of the curve.

What They're Looking For

5 - 6+ years of automotive experience preferred for A Techs

Proven ability to efficiently turn hours and keep work flowing

Team-oriented, reliable, and organized

Valid driver's license

Comfortable working on all makes and models

Open to experienced dealership techs ready to transition into the independent shop world

Key Responsibilities

Perform repair and maintenance work efficiently and accurately to maximize productivity

Keep the shop workflow moving with a focus on turning billed hours

Assist teammates as needed while maintaining a positive, team-first attitude

Mentor and support other technicians in their development

Ensure vehicles are serviced to the highest standards of safety and quality

Stay engaged in ongoing training and professional development

Ability to produce 3,000+ hours per year! PLENTY of work here to do those numbers!
