Maintenance Helper
The Housing Maintenance Mechanic performs a variety of skilled and semi-skilled maintenance, repair, and construction tasks to support the operation and upkeep of University Housing facilities. The position ensures that building systems, equipment, and furnishings remain safe, clean, and functional to provide a high-quality living environment for residents. This is an entry-level position that requires foundational knowledge in multiple trades, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, and general building maintenance. The incumbent works independently or as part of a team to perform preventive maintenance, respond to service requests, and assist in maintaining compliance with applicable safety and building codes.
