Framing Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Framing Carpenter to join our commercial construction team in Madison, WI. The ideal candidate will have experience in structural framing for large-scale commercial buildings and a strong understanding of construction plans, safety protocols, and teamwork. This role involves working on-site to build the framework of offices, retail spaces, industrial facilities, and other commercial structures.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and building plans to determine framing requirements
• Measure, cut, and assemble wood and metal framing components using hand and power tools
• Construct walls, floors, roofs, and partitions for commercial buildings with precision and efficiency
• Install trusses, joists, studs, and sheathing materials according to project specifications and local building codes
• Operate tools and equipment such as saws, nail guns, levels, and scaffolding safely and effectively
• Collaborate with site supervisors, project managers, and other trades to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion
• Follow OSHA safety standards and company policies to maintain a safe job site
• Assist with material handling, site cleanup, and preparation as needed

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00 / hr.
