Job descriptionManage and maintain the general ledger in accordance with company policies and GAAP requirements Serve as a key participant in the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all financial data Prepare, review, and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments Perform balance sheet reconciliations and flux analysis, identifying and resolving variances as necessary Assist with internal and external audits by providing schedules, analyses, and supporting documentation Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance accounting processes and internal controls Drive and support process improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting Prepare ad hoc reports and analyses as requested by management Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, in a manufacturing environment required Strong understanding of general ledger accounting principles and month-end close processes Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) Advanced MS Excel skills, including the ability to analyze and interpret large data sets Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities Proactive and self-motivated with a continuous improvement mindset Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments
