Description of the role :

University Home Care is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Physical Therapist to join our team in Detroit, Michigan. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care using evidence-based practice. You will work closely with patients and their families to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate personalized treatment programs to promote their independence and functional abilities.

Responsibilities :

• Evaluate patients' physical and functional status to determine their rehabilitation needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Administer therapeutic exercises and modalities to improve patients' strength, mobility, and range of motion
• Instruct and educate patients and their families on proper techniques and exercises to continue their rehabilitation at home
• Monitor and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

Compensation & Benefits :

This is a full time, hourly position with a competitive compensation package of $70 to $80 per visit, paid bi-weekly, and we work around your schedule as well.
