California Licensed Assistant General Counsel

A company is looking for a Director, Assistant General Counsel - Commercial.

Key Responsibilities

Lead a team of commercial attorneys in negotiating and drafting contracts for third-party engagements

Support the sales team in their lending partnership work

Oversee all commercial contracts outside of those with financiers / investors

Required Qualifications

10+ years of experience in commercial transactions, including in-house representation

Experience managing a team of lawyers and legal professionals

Prior law firm and in-house experience

Expertise in contract law with strong drafting and negotiation skills

Admission to the CA or NY bar is preferred
